Request for Proposals – Baseline Study for SSC Project in Uganda

Introduction

Crossroads International is a leader in international cooperation and has been fighting inequality for over 65 years. Crossroads works with local partner organizations in sub-Saharan Africa to strengthen women’s economic power; empower them to become leaders and live free from violence.

The Scholars for Social Change (SSC) Project is a three-year project implemented by Crossroads International (Crossroads) in partnership with Mastercard Foundation (the Foundation). The ultimate outcome of this project is fully aligned with the Mastercard Foundation’s mission to increase access to education to improve employment and its objective of building a network of transformative leaders to equip them with skills and tools necessary to succeed in their chosen career path.

The Consultancy

Crossroads International plans to conduct a Baseline Survey for its Scholars for Social Change project in Uganda. The baseline data will provide a crucial benchmark for measuring the project performance and impact over time.

Purpose of the Consultancy
The overall objective of the consultancy is to conduct a comprehensive baseline evaluation to provide the project with detailed baseline data on all project indicators that will be a basis for setting of realistic targets as well as continuous measurement of the SSC project performance and results (outcome and impact).
