Join our biggest event of the year; the International Day of the Girl Breakfast! First celebrated in 2012, the Breakfast raises awareness of the challenges millions of girls around the world face daily through gender-based violence, poverty, and the denial of basic human rights. Your participation and generous donations support the Girls’ Empowerment Programs in the countries where Crossroads operates.
The breakfast is now canada-wide!

FEATURING RENOWNED LEGAL EXPERT AND FEMINIST LEADER
This year, we are honoured to welcome Kafui Adjamagbo Johnson, a prominent legal figure and advocate for women’s empowerment. Kafui is a published author on women’s rights and legal reform. She made history as the first woman to run for President in Togo and previously served as Minister of Social Welfare, Human Rights, and National Solidarity.
She co-founded GF2D (Le Groupe de réflexion et d’action, Femme, Démocratie et Développement), one of the country’s first feminist and legal aid organizations, and was instrumental in building WiLDAF (Women in Law and Development in Africa), a longstanding Crossroads International partner, into the most influential women’s legal rights network in West Africa.
