You believe that all women and girls deserve to have access to their basic rights and live free of violence and abuse. You also believe that young people in developing countries deserve a better access to capacity building, economic opportunities and leadership.

Major gifts

Major donors of Crossroads International have touched so many areas of our work – from our girls’ empowerment program, to women’s leadership and economic empowerment programs, to work to reduce gender-based violence. Major gifts help us work in collaboration with partner organizations in sub-Saharan Africa to make lasting changes for marginalized women and girls living mostly in rural and marginalized communities.

YOU CAN IGNITE AN EQUITABLE RECOVERY

Crossroads is currently raising major gifts towards COVID resilience work, to provide the organization with flexible and sustainable long-range funding for development programs. We are seeking matching donations to complement government funding on an annual basis. Donations can be remitted in one lump sum or pledged over a period of time and typically, gifts are eligible for a full tax receipt.

Your generous gift of $5,000 or more will help us make a difference for vulnerable women, girls and communities impacted by COVID-19. Some major gifts come in the form of a deferred or “planned” gifts (in most cases, this is a gift in your Will to Crossroads). Your support will help us reduce inequalities and ensure we are on track to achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while reducing the social and economic burden of the pandemic that has had far-reaching effects particularly on women and girls.

YOU MAKE INCREDIBLE THINGS HAPPEN

Crossroads International is immensely grateful to the individual supporters and institutional funders who choose to make major or transformational gifts to tackle the highest priority needs as well as specific needs of the organization.

Thanks to major gifts – including those pledged over multiple years, Crossroads is able to create powerful and essential opportunities to support partners who are struggling to provide critical services and build a strong and resilient post-COVID future for vulnerable women and girls.  Generous supporters like you are making a difference in the lives of people impacted by COVID-19. Your generosity is helping create sustainable incomes for entire communities.

The Resilience Initiative council is a group of dedicated individuals who are major donors to Crossroads International. The directors of the council have each invested $10,000+ annually and are playing a direct role in fueling the long-term resilience and recovery plan for the organization as it supports marginalized women and girls who have been severely impacted by COVID-19.
