Celebrating Volunteerism and Impact at Crossroads International
As we prepare to celebrate National Volunteer Week 2024, under the theme “Every Moment Matters,” Crossroads International warmly extends our deepest gratitude to our dedicated volunteers. This year’s theme serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of every contribution made by our volunteers, known as Crossroaders, who play a pivotal role in advancing our mission. Whether it’s participating in our programs to prevent violence, creating sustainable incomes, or empowering women to become leaders in their communities, every moment you dedicate helps shape a more equitable and sustainable world.
Crossroads International’s volunteers are at the heart of our efforts to promote the rights of women and eradicate poverty. Their diverse skills and expertise are instrumental in meeting the specific needs of partner organizations overseas, contributing to the long-term development of vulnerable communities. From addressing gender inequality and its dire consequences, such as increased sexual abuse and gender-based violence against women and girls, to combating the denial of basic human rights exacerbated by extreme poverty and climate change, our volunteers’ work is crucial.
In line with the “Every Moment Matters” theme, we invite our community to join us in celebrating the extraordinary efforts of our volunteers during National Volunteer Week.
