On September 21st, join us for a new and exciting event: The Walk for Women’s and Girls’ Empowerment!

Starting at the Crossroads International office in Toronto, stroll along the streets of downtown for 5 kilometers while learning about the impact of our work.

About the Event

The Walk for Women’s and Girls’ Empowerment is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for initiatives that empower women and girls in sub-Saharan Africa. This event combines education, physical activity, and community engagement to create a meaningful experience for all participants.

What to Expect

-Inspiring Talks: Listen to interesting speakers who will share powerful stories of empowerment and discuss the impact of community support on women and girls in Sub-Saharan Africa.

-5km Walk: Participate in a scenic 5km walk through downtown Toronto, symbolizing solidarity and support for women’s and girls’ empowerment efforts. Engage in meaningful conversations, connect with others, and celebrate your commitment to the cause.

-Coffee, Tea, and Bagels: After the walk, enjoy coffee, tea, and bagels while networking with fellow attendees, volunteers, and speakers. This setting encourages dialogue, idea-sharing, and collaboration among supporters of gender equality.

The impact of your participation

Proceeds from the event will directly support Crossroads International’s initiatives in education, health, economic empowerment and leadership development for women and girls in sub-Saharan Africa. Your participation and generous donations will help equip women and girls with the skills and resources to achieve their full potential and contribute to their communities.
