Our placements are designed to meet the stated needs of partner organizations overseas and build on one another to support the development of vulnerable communities over the long-term. There is a minimum 3-month delay between being selected for an overseas volunteer position and the departure date. The departure date is contingent upon the completion of an administrative file, including fundraising, medical examination, criminal record check and obtaining a visa for the placement country.
