Join us for an evening of inspiring conversation hosted in partnership with Pearson College and the One World show to learn more about Crossroads International’s work to empower African women and girls to alleviate poverty, live free from violence and realize their rights. The evening will feature former Federal and BC Deputy Minister and former Crossroads international volunteer Cassie Doyle, and The Honourable Anne McLellan.
Together we can create One World where poverty is eliminated, equality prevails, and the rights of women and girls are fulfilled.

Cassie Doyle is an accomplished leader with 25 years of experience building successful public service organizations at the municipal, provincial and federal levels of government in Canada. She is a Strategic Advisor to the Canadian International Resources and Development Institute, and former Consul General to Northern California. Cassie is a former Federal and BC Deputy Minister. In 1976 Cassie volunteered with Crossroads International as Crossroader in India.

Anne McLellan was a four term Liberal MP for Edmonton Centre, during which time she was Deputy Prime Minister of Canada. Anne is currently a Strategic Advisor with Bennett Jones LLP, Chancellor of Dalhousie University and Board Chair of Pearson College. In 2018 Anne took part on Crossroads International’s inaugural Charity Challenge in Tanzania which had her and 16 others trek 100km in support of Crossroads International.
