2022 Annual Canada Africa Partnership Ride
Ride to support the rights of women and girls!
The annual Canada Africa Partnership (CAP) Ride is back!
The CAP Ride, is taking place from June 1st to June 5th and is a 12 km challenge. You raise money for a cause you believe in, while also being active and practicing physical distancing. You can choose to bike, walk, run, or rollerblade to complete this challenge. Or, you can even stay inside and complete the challenge in the comfort of your own home with a stationary bike or treadmill!
By joining Team Crossroads, you can help us raise funds for our COVID resilience initiative in support of women and girls in sub-Saharan Africa who have become even more vulnerable to the basic issues of livelihood, hunger and safety during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2021, Team Crossroads raised just over $9,000, with 28 riders participating across the country. This year, Crossroads International is aiming to raise $12,000 – a goal we can’t achieve without your help. Can we count on you to join Team Crossroads and bike to crush COVID-19!
Once you have registered, you can set up your campaign page. If you need help with setting that up, click here for a resource that was provided by the Canada Africa Partnership Network. Prefer not to read a document, well don’t you worry! CAP Ride has also created a tutorial video that you can follow along when creating your campaign page!

WHERE YOUR MONEY Goes
The money raised will be used to invest in local partner organizations in 9 African countries where we operate and will help adapt existing programs to deliver essential services and respond to urgent needs brought on by the pandemic. This includes providing outreach and counseling services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual trafficking, and basic resources such as food, disinfectants, masks, and cleaning supplies. The funds will also be used to strengthen the long-term resilience of food systems and livelihoods for women in rural and marginalized communities.
Join the virtual movement, stand with us and challenge yourself! Together we can crush COVID-19.
