Please join us on October 23 for an intimate evening with best-selling author Lawrence Hill in support of Crossroads International’s work to alleviate poverty and advance the rights of women and girls.

Lawrence Hill is the award winning author of The Illegal and The Book of Negroes, a Member of the Order of Canada, he is an honorary patron with Crossroads International and has volunteered overseas with Crossroads in Niger, Mali, Cameroon and eSwatini.

On October 23 Lawrence will share how his volunteer experience has influenced his writing, and why there has never been a greater need for Canadians to act as global citizens in a world where the rights of women and girls are increasingly under threat and forced migration threatens the lives of millions.
